Health Care for the Homeless
thru: Regional Health Reach
• Offers health care, dental, social work, mental health, and education services for the homeless.
- Treatment of acute and chronic health issues (in clinic, on the street, and in shelter locations)
- STD and HIV testing
- TB screening
- Evaluation, counseling, and referrals for mental health and substance abuse issues
- Peer support for those wanting rehabilitation
- Diabetic and nutrition education
- Referrals for dental services and for specialty services
- Emergency, transitional, and permanent housing assistance
- Food and clothing assistance
- DSS benefits/insurance enrollment assistance
• Offers Mobile Medical Units (on the street, can meet people experiencing homelessness where they are). Mobile Units also go to shelter locations.
Language Access
Eligibility: Resident of area served. Individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
Application Process: Call, walk in, appointment.
Required Documentation: Call for information.
Fees: Call for information. If insurance is available, program will submit billing. No one denied care because of inability to pay.
