Family Support Services Program

thru: The Arc Wayne

Offers individualized services to persons who are disabled, such as:

  • Behavioral management: the goal is to improve quality of life and overall functioning of a family unit within the home, community, and school/work environment. Includes Preventive Behavior Management and Crisis Intervention
  • After-School Arts and Wellness Program: healthy activities to enhance physical and emotional health of school-aged children
  • Recreation: opportunities for community inclusion and socialization for adults.
  • Transportation: can be provided to and from community recreation events, as well as pick up and drop off for children/teens enrolled in the After-School program. (Staff permitting)
  • Family Reimbursement: Families can be reimbursed annually for individual needs directly related to their developmental disability

Eligibility: Resident of area served. Must be OPWDD eligible. Additional eligibility requirements depend on the program; call for information.
