Rochester Emergency Assistance Program
thru: Rochester City Hall
• Provides financial assistance to eligible owner-occupants who own a one to four family residential property to help with emergencies related to furnaces, boilers, and water heaters.
Eligibility: Resident of area served. Owner-occupants only. Total household income must be at or below 80% of HUD’s AMI. Property owners must be code-compliant with all properties owned in the city of Rochester. City of Rochester and Monroe County taxes must be current and not subject to foreclosure or if the owner is on a tax agreement, the owner must be current with payments throughout the entire application process. Including all properties owned in the city of Rochester. Mortgage payments must be current and not subject to foreclosure.
