Cell Phone Program

• Provides a free cell phone and free airtime each month to low income individuals.

These are used for emergencies that may occur outside of the home and also assist those seeking and retaining employment by having the ability to communicate with employers.

Language Access

Eligibility: Age 18 or older, must participate in at least one public assistance program such as Medicaid, Food Stamps, SSI, Section 8, HEAP, School Lunch Program or TANF. Individuals may participate by falling under the income guidelines.

Application Process: Call or apply online.

Required Documentation: Proof of enrollment in public assistance program or proof of income.

Fees: No fees for service.

Coverage Note: New York State.
