• Provides benefit counseling services to all veterans and their families that include:

Case management
Female Veteran Programing
Senior veteran services
Financial counseling
VA benefits counseling

• Offers an employment resource center that aims to help veterans stabilize and re-enter the workforce assistance includes:

Resume writing assistance, career counseling, and career assessment
Job readiness and life skills training
Weekly VetNet, networking, and job club group
Occupational skills training classes

• Assists veterans and families to manage their finances and to develop individualized plans to reach their goals.

• Provides housing search assistance and temporary financial assistance through Services to Enable Positive Solutions (STEPS) program.

• Provides individual and family counseling to veterans and their families.

• Offers legal assistance through collaboration with Monroe County Legal Assistance Center.

Veterans Treatment Court.

• Creates a supportive network for veterans who could benefit from a veteran peer mentor and other community relationships through CompeerCorps.

Cultural Competency

Eligibility: Proof of veteran/discharge status and family members. Veterans Treatment Court: For veterans with nonviolent criminal charges who have a substance abuse or mental health diagnosis.

Application Process: Call or drop in.

Required Documentation: Proof of Veteran status.

Fees: No fee for services.

Coverage Note: Erie, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, and Wayne Counties.
