thru: Action for A Better Community
• Aims to reduce the incidence of shootings, killings, and other acts of violence using a public health approach.
- Identifies and engages high-risk youth in case management.
- Conducts youth outreach.
- Prepares public education campaigns.
- Mediates conflict.
- Provide referrals to local agencies.
- Involves faith leaders.
- Have presence in the streets that neighborhood shootings occur.
Eligibility: Ages 16 to 25 years, must reside in Northeast quadrant of the city, active in street violent lifestyle and high risk activity.
Application Process: Call, walk-in, or email for an appointment.
Required Documentation: None.
Fees: No fee for services.
