Education and Youth Services Program

thru: Urban League of Rochester New York

Provides Recognition, assistance and incentives for college-bound high school students through the Black Scholars program.

Offers an afterschool and summer program that provides academic enrichment for middle school students through the Urban League Afterschool Academy.

Provides college access programs that meets afterschool and on Saturdays for high-achieving African American high school students through Project Ready.

Eligibility: Black Scholars Program: African American high school students who are on track to graduate with a B or higher grade point average. Offers various programming for youth in grades 5-12.

Application Process: Call or visit office.

Required Documentation: None.

Fees: No fee for services.

Coverage Note: After school Academy and Project Ready: Monroe County. Black Scholars Program: Monroe, Livingston, Ontario, Wayne, Genesee and Orleans Counties.
