(Program)

* Provides educational programs for deaf and hard of hearing children.

* Provides services for deaf infants through the F.I.R.S.T. program.

* Provides after school programming and interscholastic athletic programs Rochester School for the Deaf students.

* Offers outreach services including community-based American Sign Language learning classes.

Eligibility: Severe to profound hearing loss, ages birth-21 years. Varies by program. Call for information.

Rochester School for the Deaf is a New York State Regents approved Pre K-12 educational and residential program that supports deaf and hard of hearing children and young adults, newborn to age 21.
