* Provides Temporary Financial Assistance to eligible individuals and families in need:
- Temporary Cash Assistance
- SNAP/food stamps
- Medicaid
- Day Care
- Emergency Payments
Eligibility: Income eligibility requirement for some services.
Application Process: Walk-in, mail, online at www.mybenefits.ny.gov. Some services by telephone. Call for information.
Fees: All are without charge, except depending on eligibility some day care expenses require a family share.
