Care and Share Energy Fund (National Grid)
thru: HeartShare Human Services of New York
• Provides utility gas and electric bill payment assistance for eligible National Grid customers.
Eligibility: Applicants must exhaust at least one source of HEAP before applying and have an active account with National Grid. This grant is available to residents of upstate counties and can be received once per heating season.
Application Process: Email heartshareenergy1@heartshare.org, call to apply over the phone, or to be connected to a location to apply in person.
Required Documentation: Call for information.
Fees: No fee for services.
Coverage Note: Cayuga, Livingston, Ontario, Seneca and Wayne Counties.
