* Hears family offense proceedings in various types of cases, including: 
  • Family offense petitions and domestic violence. 
  • Child custody, guardianship, and visitation petitions. 
  • Child support and spousal support petitions. 
  • Paternity petitions. 
  • Adoptions and child neglect/abuse petitions.

Eligibility: There must be a family or intimate/dating relationship and one party must reside in Ontario County.

Application Process: Family offense matters begin at Safe Harbors at 315-781-1093 or Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes at 315-789-2613. Child support matters go through Ontario County Support Collection Unit (SCU). All other issues come to Room 130 during business hours on a walk-in basis.

Required Documentation: Photo ID.

Fees: No fee for services.
