* Provides a college scholarship to students that impact their community, especially concerning delimiting racism. 

Eligibility: High school seniors in area served who identify as Black or African American and plan to continue schooling after graduation (2 or 4-year college, trade, technical, or professional school).

Application Process: Visit website to download application.

Required Documentation: Application, Letter of recommendation, and acceptance letter to an institution of higher learning.

Fees: No fee for services. Donations accepted.

Wayne Action for Racial Equality (WARE) investigates recent information about racism through research, books, workshops, and networking with others to learn how racism is perpetuated and how the cycle can be broken.
