* Investigates allegations of child abuse and neglect received by NYS Central Registry of Abuse and Maltreatment. Services may include: 
  • Foster care placement for abused or neglected children. 
  • Preventive Services for families in crisis to avoid foster care placement. 
  • Casework/referral services. 
  • Family preservation & support programs. 
  • JD & PINS programs. 
  • Foster parent recruitment. 
  • Foster parent training and certification. 
  • Certification of adoptive families for children in foster care.   
  • Adult Protective services works with individuals 18 years and older, with physical and/or mental impairments, and no support system to help meet basic needs. 
  • On call caseworker for after hours emergencies.
