* Investigates allegations of child abuse and neglect received by NYS Central Registry of Abuse and Maltreatment. Services may include:
- Foster care placement for abused or neglected children.
- Preventive Services for families in crisis to avoid foster care placement.
- Casework/referral services.
- Family preservation & support programs.
- JD & PINS programs.
- Foster parent recruitment.
- Foster parent training and certification.
- Certification of adoptive families for children in foster care.
- Adult Protective services works with individuals 18 years and older, with physical and/or mental impairments, and no support system to help meet basic needs.
- On call caseworker for after hours emergencies.
