* Aims to reduce the incidence of shootings, killings, and other acts of violence using a public health approach.
- Identifies and engages high-risk youth in case management
- Conducts youth outreach
- Prepares public education campaigns
- Mediates conflict
- Provide referrals to local agencies
- Involves faith leaders
- Have presence in the streets that neighborhood shootings occur
Eligibility: Ages 16 to 25 years, must reside in Northeast quadrant of the city, active in street violent lifestyle and high risk activity.
Application Process: Call, walk-in, or email for an appointment.
Required Documentation: None.
Fees: No fee for services.

Action for a Better Community promotes and provides opportunities for low-income individuals and families to become self-sufficient.
