* Offers specialized education for students with emotional, psychosocial, or behavioral needs through the Avalon School.
  • Special education teachers and social workers.
  • Students may return to their home schools or they may graduate from Avalon with complete credits.

Eligibility: High school students who have been identified by their local school district's Committee of Special Education (CSE) as emotionally disturbed.

Application Process: Referrals are made through local school district's CSE.

Required Documentation: Call for information.

Fees: Tuition is paid by local school districts.

Coverage Note: Cayuga, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, and Wayne counties.

Languages: Staff provides service in language offered, Staff provides in-person interpreter, Language line, Website can be translated

 

Villa of Hope offers Behavioral Health (mental health and substance use treatment), Care Coordination, Education, and Workforce Development programs to youth, adults and families.
