* Offers fire protection, fire suppression and protection of life and property from fire.

15 stations located in the City of Rochester.

* Provides assistance to homeowners and businesses in safeguarding and salvaging property.

* Conducts planning and research.

Coordination of short and long term research for new programs.
Analysis and evaluation of on going programs.
Cooperation with community organizations to develop fire prevention programs.

* A member of the Rochester Healthy Homes Partnership Member Organization.

Cultural Competency

Eligibility: Protective Volunteer Force: Ages 18 years and over. Resident of City of Rochester. Pass a physical exam.
