* Provides New York Relay Service, a statewide service that connects standard voice telephone uses with deaf, hard-of-hearing, deaf-blind, speech-disabled, or late-deafened people who use text telephones (TTYs) or voice carry-over (VCO) phones.


* Provides New York Captioned Telephone service, which allows people with hearing loss to use the phone by listening and reading.


* Facilitates international calling using English or Spanish.

New York Relay Services is a free statewide service that connects voice telephone users with people who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, have a speech disability, or are late-deafened. The service allows consumers to use special equipment (such as captioned telephone, TTY, VCO or HCO) to communicate with standard voice telephone users through specially trained relay operators (RO).
