* Helps people get answers to questions about supports and services for individuals with developmental disabilities in New York State. It is also used to take complaints of alleged misconduct, fraud, waste and abuse in the service system.

Eligibility: Must have a developmental disability.

Application Process: Call for information.

Fees: No fee for services.

The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is responsible for coordinating services for individuals with developmental disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, and other neurological impairments.
