* Provides classes focusing on functional English allowing refugees to function in everyday life in their neighborhoods. 
  • English language classes are offered at three levels: beginner, intermediate, and high intermediate. The upper two levels include civics and citizenship components. 

Eligibility: Must be 18 years of age or older. Continuous open enrollment.

Application Process: By appointment, call for information, visit website or walk-in.

Required Documentation: Proof of income and I-94 or Green card Entry card.

Fees: No fee for services.

Coverage Note: Monroe County.

Languages: Arabic, Dari, Somali, Swahili

 

Refugees Helping Refugees is a community-based grassroots, all-volunteer, refugee-run organization that provides support services to the refugee community in need, including a community center providing a full range of services.
