* Provides evaluations and follow-ups for individuals who have some remaining usable vision. Staffed with a doctor of Optometry who is certified as a low-vision specialist. Magnifiers, telescopes, sunglasses, or reading glasses are usually dispensed to the consumer at the time of the evaluation.

Eligibility: Resident of area served who are legally blind.

Application Process: Call for information; Referrals from the NYS Commission for the Blind, or area eye care providers.

Required Documentation: Documentation of visual impairment.

Fees: No fee for services.

Coverage Note: Cayuga, Onondaga, and Oswego Counties.
