* Teaches blind or visually impaired individuals skills of daily living such as cooking, sewing, self-care and communication skills, including the use of talking book machines, Braille, script writing, typing, etc.

* Provides work site evaluations.

Eligibility: Individuals who have a severe visual impairment.

Application Process: Call for information; Referrals from NYS Commission of the Blind.

Required Documentation: Documentation of visual impairment.

Fees: No fee to consumers.

Coverage Note: Cayuga, Onondaga, Oswego, Cortland and Jefferson counties.
