* Assists victims of violent crimes to file for compensation through the NYS Office of Victims Services.

* Provides education programs to schools, day care centers, human service agencies, and businesses. Speakers and trainings are available to provide information on child sexual abuse, acquaintance rape, prevention and other related topics.

Eligibility: Resident of area served. Birth to eighteen years old. Must be a victim/witness to sexual assault and/or physical violence.

Application Process: Law enforcement and human service agencies or self referral.

Required Documentation: None.

Fees: No fee for services.

Coverage Note: Cayuga County and Skaneateles and Seneca Falls.

 

Cayuga Counseling Services seeks to promote emotional health and well-being, with a special emphasis of, providing services to children, young adults and families, providing individual counseling, school-based therapy, medication management, intensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy and DBT groups, and Parent Child Interaction Therapy.
