- Breast Cancer Screening - Patient Navigation: These programs help women, regardless of insurance status, to overcome barriers to access and complete breast cancer screening at breast centers accredited through the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).
- New York State Breast and Prostate Cancer Peer Education: These programs offer education for women about the importance of regular breast cancer screening, and, for men, about the risks of prostate cancer. The programs refer clients to health and community services and encourage clients to talk about screening with their health care providers.

Oversees the delivery of comprehensive breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screening services and prostate cancer education to underserved populations in New York.Also promotes the use of genetic screening, diagnostics and counseling in cases of hereditary breast and ovarian cancers.Provides public and health care provider education regarding cancer prevention and early detection.Maintains a quality improvement program to ensure the quality of clinical services provided through the program.Provides funds for community-based cancer support services for persons with cancer and their families.
