* Provides one-on-one financial counseling services. Counselors can assist with developing a plan to pay down debt, budgeting and saving to buy a car or home, improving credit score, accessing low-interest loans, and other financial issues.

COVID-19: During the COVID-19 pandemic the Rochester FEC counseling team is prepared to assist clients with the following:
  • Navigating collection accounts
  • Calling creditors
  • Ongoing budget assistance
  • Exploring student loan options
  • Help developing saving habits
  • Educating clients of future savings & options (i.e. retirement, children's education, etc.)

Eligibility: 18 and older.

Application Process: Call for an appointment or visit website for more information.

Required Documentation: Bring pay stubs, account statements and any bills. Counselor will reach out after an appointment is scheduled for any other documentation.

Fees: No fees for services.
