Cultural Competency
Eligibility: Wayne County families with children ages 18 and under. Drug and alcohol-free program, no active domestic violence, untreated substance use disorder, or untreated mental health concerns.
Application Process: Accepts referrals from schools, DSS, churches, or self-referral. Families in need can call.
Required Documentation: Call for information.
Fees: No fee for services.

Family Promise of Wayne County is a coordinated network of organizations and churches providing homeless families in Wayne County with shelter, meals, and support services.Comments:Family Promise of Wayne County currently offers services from two separate programs under their umbrella.1. Apartment Program - provides temporary housing to families that are either experiencing homelessness or low income in an effort to work towards sustainable independence through stable housing. Family Promise currently provides assistance for up to 2 families at a time.2. ROTH Program - ROTH stands for Roof Over Their Heads. This programs provides assistance for rental arrears, security deposits, utility arrears or 1st month's rent.
