Eligibility: Resident of area served. Families with children birth to 18 years of age.

Application Process: Applications can be completed through the child's school, other community agencies, or by appointment at the office.

Required Documentation: Proof of address and income for each household member. Eligible documents include: SNAP, Temporary Assistance, SSI/SSD, Unemployment Insurance, Workers Comp, Child Support or Employment. ID the day of pick up.

Fees: No fee for services.

Coverage Note: Cayuga County.

Languages: Staff provides service in language offered, Language line

 

Community Action Programs Cayuga/Seneca (CAP) serves individuals, families, and children through over 40 programs designed to alleviate hunger and homelessness, help domestic violence victims, prepare individuals for the workforce, provide early childhood development, improve health outcomes, and mitigate crisis.
