* Produces and disseminates information leading to increased recognition, prevention, and treatment of problem gambling.
* Conducts and publicly supports research activities to establish and document areas of need.
* Provides free training to healthcare and other professionals to assess and treat persons with gambling-related problems.
* Fosters expanded and improved services for residents adversely affected by gambling.
* Assists industry and business leaders in developing customer- and employee-based problem gambling awareness programs.
* Conducts workshops and conferences.
* Connects individuals to therapy and Gambling Anonymous (GA) services.
* Conducts and publicly supports research activities to establish and document areas of need.
