* Assists domestic violence victims with filing petitions for Family Court Orders of Protection.
  • Referrals to Willow Domestic Violence Center and other agencies for support.

Eligibility: Victim of abuse by a family or household member. Married or formerly married to the abuser or have a child in common or are otherwise related to the abuser. Victims who have been in an intimate relationship, regardless of whether they have lived with the abuser or whether the relationship is sexual in nature. This includes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and dating relationships.

Application Process: Drop in preferred. Intake and court process may take 2.5 to 3 hours.

Required Documentation: Call for information.

Fees: No fee for services.
