* Provides supportive mentorships on a one-to-one basis with children and adults receiving mental health treatment.
- Individual training before matches are made.
- Ongoing post-match training.
- Pre-match and post-match support by Volunteer Coordinators.
- Volunteer-client activities include friendly visits, social and cultural experiences, and special events.
- Telephone or e-mail support for referred clients waiting to be matched with volunteers.
Cultural Competency
Eligibility: Volunteers: Ages 18 and older. Adult Clients: Ages 21 or older.
