* Supports a prosperous agricultural industry through programs ranging from laboratory research to home gardening. 

* Guide agritourism development at working farms to attract, educate, and inspire visitors. 

* Facilitated agriculture economic development to maximizes farm profitability, increase access to and utilization of local farm products, improve on-farm employment and identify ways to apply appropriate and sustainable technologies to farm operations.

* Provides education about commercial Horticulture information for lawn and landscape maintenance, greenhouses, garden center businesses, and golf courses.

* Operates the Finger Lakes Grape Program where wine and juice grape growing specialists are available to advise on vineyard plans and troubleshoot any problems.

* Provides access to commercial vegetable researchers and field technicians who are available for questions and education.

* Operates a network of dairy and field crop specialists who are available to advise on crop plans and troubleshoot any problems. 

*  Provides a Pesticide Training Program Series.

* Provides Maple syrup production information, for the producer, consumer and general public. This includes numerous maple syrup production fact sheets, publications and frequently asked questions; along with student/teacher activities, maple recipes, and upcoming workshops.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County provides workshops, individual consulting, and fact sheets to foster success in farming and rural land management. The 4-H Youth Development Program emphasizes the development of workforce and life skills in youth. Parenting Skills Workshop Series provides skills and resources that support positive parenting approaches.
