* Creates a supportive, fun, hands-on learning environment to help youth and adult volunteers reach their fullest potential. 

* Provides opportunities for youth interested in:

  • Plant Science.    
  • Food & Nutrition.             
  • Science & Technology.   
  • Community Service.        
  • Public Speaking.
  • Community Service.        
  • Leadership.
* Operates a variety of camping programs including day camps, residential camps, campers with Autism Camp, and Counselor in Training. 
  • Accommodates children with disabilities.
  • Scholarships are available to support financially limited families.

Eligibility: Ages 5 to 19.

Application Process: Call for information.

Required Documentation: Registration and health forms for 4-H Camp.

Fees: 4-H Club Program: Annual enrollment fee. 4-H Camp: $275-$520.

Coverage Note: Ontario County and Finger Lakes region.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County provides workshops, individual consulting, and fact sheets to foster success in farming and rural land management. The 4-H Youth Development Program emphasizes the development of workforce and life skills in youth. Parenting Skills Workshop Series provides skills and resources that support positive parenting approaches.
