* Helps prevent a child’s placement out of the family home or ensure the successful return of a child to the family home from an out-of-home placement.

* Helps families alleviate the immediate crisis and improve family functioning so that the risk of placement or re-placement is reduced. Includes: 
  • Case management. 
  • Individual and family therapy (short-term and home-based). 
  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. 
  • Anger management. 
  • Conflict resolution skills. 
  • Self Sufficiency skills. 
  • Communication skills. 
  • Crisis Intervention.

Eligibility: Birth to age seventeen.

Application Process: Call for information, referrals received through DSS preventive unit.

Required Documentation: Call for information.

Fees: None for most services.

Coverage Note: Monroe, Erie, and Onondaga Counties.

Cultural Competency: Cultural competency, diversity, equity, and inclusion training for staff

Languages: American Sign Language, Spanish - Staff provides in-person interpreter, Language line, Materials/literature in language indicated
