* Provides resources and a network of professionals providing support and protection to victims of elder abuse through intervention, education, and services.
  • Intervention in physical, emotional/psychological, and sexual abuse, financial exploitation, and caregiver neglect.
  • No self-neglect cases.
* Provides information and referral hotline for witnesses, friends and family of elderly people who are suspected of being abused.

Eligibility: Person in need age 60 years and older. Anyone who is aware of possible elder abuse for information and referral hotline.

Application Process: Call or walk in for assistance.

Required Documentation: Call for information.

Fees: Most services: donations.

Coverage Note: Monroe, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Orleans, Schuyler, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates counties.

Lifespan of Greater Rochester provides older adults and caregivers with information, guidance, and support services. Lifespan also provides training and education for allied professionals, and the community.
