* Provides a therapeutic horseback riding program to benefit children and adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Nationally certified instructors and specially trained horses and volunteers.
  • Heritage Christian Stables is accredited by Professional Association for Therapeutic Horsemanship, International.

Eligibility: Riders must be over the age of four. Riders must meet the current horse weight restrictions (200 pounds for balanced riders). Riders have appropriate behavior to maintain safety.

Application Process: Complete forms including a physician form. Evaluation set up after application review and eligibility determination.

Required Documentation: Call for information.

Fees: Lesson fees due prior to start of session. Cost for each session varies. Call or visit website for more information.

Coverage Note: Monroe, Wayne and Ontario Counties.
