* Offers an outreach program that provides support to families who have lost a loved one to suicide called Healing Conversations. 

Eligibility: None. Ages 16 and older to volunteer.

Fees: No fee for service.

Coverage Note: Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chemung, Erie, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Ontario, Orleans, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming and Yates Counties.

 

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education, and advocacy and reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide.
