* Offers fire prevention public awareness programs through Monroe County Prevention and Education Services.
  • Fire fighters discuss hazards and safety rules at schools, senior centers, etc.
* Provides one-to-one intervention services to children who have been involved in a fire-related incident.

The Rochester Fire Department responds to numerous emergency situations, such as vehicle extrication, medical emergencies, high-level rescue, hazardous materials incidents, structural collapse, swift water rescue, and many more emergency operations.
