* Provides emergency services and programs to the community.
  • Fire fighters trained as Peace Officers. 
  • Crowd/traffic control in emergencies. 
  • Collaboration with Sheriff's Department. 
  • Fire Fighters United for Safety Education/FUSE. 
  • Fire safety education for all ages. 
  • Smoke and CO detector program. 
  • Car seat safety education. 
  • Health education, accident prevention. 

Eligibility: Live in Town of Hamlin, Villages of Morton or Walker. Explorer Scouts: ages 14 years and completion of eighth grade.

Fees: No fee for services. Donations accepted but not required.
