* Provides education, social and recreation activities for older adults. 
  • Congregate meals. 
  • Transportation. 
    • To Senior Center for meals. 
    • Once weekly shopping to Hudson-Titus Plaza. 
  • Medical equipment loans. 
    • Canes, commodes, bath chairs, raised toilet seats, crutches, walkers,wheelchairs. Wheelchairs may be borrowed for up to two months.  All other equipment may be borrowed for up to 90 days.
  • Health and nutrition information. 
  • "Life in Irondequoit". 
    • Casework services for frail, elderly members of the program. 
  • Emergency Food Delivery. 

Eligibility: Age 50 or older. "Life in Irondequoit": Resident of the Town of Irondequoit. Medical equipment loans: Resident of the Town of Irondequoit to borrow a wheelchair.

Required Documentation: Call for information.

Fees: By donation. Wheelchair loan: $50 deposit. Transportation: $2.00 round trip. Lunch: $3.00 a day.

Coverage Note: Monroe County. Medical equipment loans for wheelchairs: Town of Irondequoit has preference.

 

Irondequoit Town Hall oversees all services that include the Town Clerk, Town Board Offices, Development Services, Human Resources, and Comptroller.
