* Offers a one year program designed for individuals who are motivated to provide service to the Rochester community on a full-time basis. 
  • A living allowance is paid for full time community service. 
  • Voucher supplied to use toward college expenses or outstanding student loans. 
  • Child care is available to those who qualify. 
  • Health insurance coverage is available to the member only. 

Eligibility: Minimum age for application: Ages 17 years and older. A minimum of 1700 hours of service must be completed. Must not be working or going to school full time. Call for information on other eligibility requirements.

AmeriCorps is a national service program offering opportunities for individuals to do community service. For a full-time term of service, AmeriCorps members receive a modest living allowance and an education award.
