Steps up to the house. Staff can assist bringing children into the program if parent is unable to navigate the stairs.
* Delivers free, temporary (one hour up to two weeks) childcare during family emergencies, including:
- Medical emergencies.
- Unexpected illness.
- Accidents.
- Unemployment.
- Mental health episodes.
- Unexpected death.
- Domestic violence.
- Homelessness.
- Legal issues.
- Unstable/unsafe housing.

Eligibility: Families in crisis. Birth to 14 years of age. Older siblings up to 17 years also accepted.
Application Process: Intake is completed over the phone.

Fees: No fee for services.

The Center for Youth provides free, voluntary, and confidential counseling, emergency shelter, transitional and permanent housing, employment and education support, restorative justice, Teen court, crisis intervention services, and crisis nursery services for youth and their families.
