The Fan Club - Program

Provides free fans for people ages 55 and older, or those who are younger with a disability, who do not have air conditioning. Service is a partnership between the Fan Club, Lifespan, and other agencies.
Aging Services - Program

Provides case management, assistance with Social Security and SSI applications, caregiver support, housing transition assistance and culturally sensitive home health care through the Passport Senior Services program. Offers a volunteer phone call program for the homebound elderly. Provides a national information and referral service for family members seeking to arrange care for elderly relatives living elsewhere through the Elder Support Network.
Home Health Care and Hospice Services - Program

Provides coordination of in-home health care services and support services to families under the supervision of own private physician. Home care coordinators in all area hospitals. Comprehensive nursing services. Rehabilitation/Habilitative - Occupational, physical, speech therapies. Certified hospice and palliative care. Home health care service to developmentally disabled. Social casework service. Mutual support groups for bereavement and caregivers. Volunteer opportunities.
Education Services - Program
Literacy Volunteers of Rochester

Provides literacy skills to adults on a 1-1 basis and in small groups. Offers reading and math instruction for adults with skills below the ninth grade level. Offers English for speakers of other languages (ESOL). Provides training workshops for volunteers who are matched with literacy volunteer learners. Provides digital literacy services to assist with online forms, documents and applications at community based sites.

Respect Program - Program

*Offer a Domestic Violence Intervention Class.Meets weekly for 26 ninety minute sessions utilizing "state of the art" information on domestic violence and how to eliminate it.Provides regular compliance reports as needed for participants referred by the courts, probation, parole etc.
