thru: Urban League of Rochester New York
• Provides education, occupational training, job readiness training, academic assistance, job/internship placement, case management, mentoring, service learning to both in-school and out-of school youth.
- YouthBuild: GED classes/TASC, construction training, job readiness training for unemployed, out-of-school youth
- Growth Opportunities(GO): prepares justice-involved young adults for entry into the workforce through job placement and paid work experiences. Services include case management, occupational training, high school equivalency preparation, work experience placements, mentoring, supportive services, and leadership development
- Workforce Development for Under and Unemployed Individuals(WDUI): works with individuals of all ages to obtain industry recognized certifications and job placement in improved career paths
- Navigator: Academic and employment mentoring and assistance for out-of-school youth
- Improving Reentry Education and Employment Outcomes(REE): supports justice-involved adults move from incarceration to successful and stable reintegration into the community. The program provides pre-release, transitional, and post-release services centered on the unique needs of each person
- ARPA Workforce Program: serves under and unemployed inner city adults, providing access to industry-recognized credentials in environmental services and carpentry. Participants receive case management, support services, and job placement in high demand construction pathways
- Urban Construction Jobs Program: operated in partnership with the TRACs Program, this initiative prepares adults for careers in the construction trades through hands on training, industry credentials, and direct connection to employment within local construction and facilities sectors
- Empire State Supportive Housing Program(ESSHI): provides permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless adults with complex needs. Services include intensive case management, employment readiness, life skills support, stabilization services, and coordinated care to improve housing retention, health outcomes, and long term independence
Eligibility: YouthBuild: high school dropouts, 17-24 years. Navigator: out-of-school youth ages 17-24. GO: 18-24 years old who have been involved in the justice system. WDUI: underemployed or unemployed Rochester area residents. REE: Currently incarcerated adults 18 years and older who will soon be released to the Rochester area. ARPA Workforce: underemployed or unemployed inner-city adults 18 years and older. Urban Construction Jobs: 18 years and older. Empire State Supportive Housing: chronically homeless adults with complex needs. 18 years and older.

Fees: No fee for services.
