Livingston County Traffic Safety Education Program
thru: Cornell Cooperative Extension of Livingston County
• Provides a safety education regarding prevention of injury.
- Child safety seat information and inspection
- Bike helmet and child safety seat distribution
- Safety educational programming provided at schools, day cares and recreation centers
- Teen driving awareness programming
- CarFit program for older adults to check how well their personal vehicles fit them
• Provides free child passenger seats to income qualifying individuals.
Eligibility: Resident of area served. For free safety seat: Child must be present at appointment unless client is in the last trimester of pregnancy.

Required Documentation: For free safety seat: WIC, SNAP, NYS Benefits, Medicaid, HEAP.
Fees: No fee for services.
