Mental Health Support and Education

Provides educational and support programs for the individual living with mental illness and family members. These include: support groups, classes and workshops, a local website, a helpline, and a national website with additional information and classes.

Provides information about the service delivery system, legislation and community programs and resources.

Offers education in the community presented by individuals and family members with the lived experience of mental illness/health.

Offers special annual events, including NAMI Walks to raise community wide awareness about mental illness and support.

Cultural Competency BadgeCultural Competency

Eligibility: Anyone affected by or interested in learning more about mental health conditions.

Application Process: Call, email or visit website for information.

Required Documentation: None.

Fees: No fee for services.

Coverage Note: Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans and Wayne Counties.
