Domestic Violence Victim Advocacy Services

thru: Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes

Provides confidential safe shelter, advocacy, and crisis/educational counseling to victims and their children during times of crisis. Services include:

  • Crisis intervention
  • Needs assessment and evaluation of your situation
  • Personalized safety plan
  • Education, information, and referrals
  • Access to safe shelter
  • Crisis, peer, and domestic violence educational counseling
  • Support group, virtual and in-person
  • Referral to therapeutic counseling
  • Knowledge of victims rights
  • Assistance with Family Court Petitions, court accompaniments, criminal justice and legal advocacy
  • Advocacy for housing, social services, medical and other needed services
  • Transportation to essential services
  • Community education and outreach

Eligibility: Victim of Domestic Violence, age 16 and older.

Application Process: Call or walk in.

Required Documentation: None.

Fees: No fee for services.

Coverage Note: Ontario and Wayne Counties.
