thru: Deaf Refugee Advocacy, Inc.
• Teaches classes, tutoring sessions, and workshops for various topics such as:
- American Sign Language (ASL).
- Read and write in English.
- Manage money wisely.
- How to do things on your own, like cooking and cleaning.
- Becoming a US citizen and know about US history and government.
- Care of your health and body.
- Manage feelings and have good relationships.
- How to be ready for a job and work well.
- Helps families learn ASL and about Deaf culture.
- Learn how to use computers.

Eligibility: Deaf refugees, asylum-seekers, immigrants, and those from US territories and family members.
Application Process: Drop in, visit website, or call. To guarantee availability, it is best to make an appointment.
Required Documentation: All papers relevant to status in this country such as: ID, Social Security number, Visa, etc.
Fees: No fee for services.
