Services for People with Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities

• Offers day habilitation services.
• Provides at-home assistance to individuals to help them become increasingly independent and able to live in the least restrictive environment possible.
• Offers weekday and weekend respite.
• Cayuga Centers is granted funding to assist families with costs of goods or services directly related to the care of a family member with a developmental disability.
- Social and recreational activities, while receiving assistance with personal care and other areas of need.
- Individuals work toward goals and objectives that are derived from their valued outcomes.
• Provides at-home assistance to individuals to help them become increasingly independent and able to live in the least restrictive environment possible.
• Offers weekday and weekend respite.
- Weekend Respite provides an opportunity to socialize and enjoy a variety of recreational activities.
- Assistance with personal care, meal times, medication and other areas of need.
• Cayuga Centers is granted funding to assist families with costs of goods or services directly related to the care of a family member with a developmental disability.
Eligibility: Must be eligible for Medicaid and OMRDD eligible.
Application Process: Referrals may be made by individuals, parents, schools, health professionals, and/or other providers.
Required Documentation: Call for information.
Fees: Services provided through Medicaid.
Coverage Note: Cayuga, Cortland, Onondaga, Oswego, Seneca, Tompkins, and Wayne Counties.
