Healthy Neighborhood Program
thru: Monroe County Department of Public Health
• Provides free smoke detectors,carbon monoxide alarms, batteries, fire extinguishers, cleaning supplies, Healthy Home DVD and literature. A brief survey will be completed during the home or apartment visit.
- Program objectives are to reduce or prevent tobacco use, home fire deaths, household pests, lead exposure and asthma hospitalizations.
- Program is available to the first 600 residents within the targeted neighborhoods.

Eligibility: Low income residents with health and housing concerns call for more information.
Application Process: Call to schedule home visit with the Community Health Worker.
