Child Support Collection Unit Program
thru: Ontario County Department of Social Services/DSS
• Obtains, collects and enforces child support orders.
- Establishment of paternity.
- Location of absent parent.
- Does not assist with alimony issues.
Eligibility: Resident of Ontario County to file. All calls for child support assistance must be made through the New York State toll free line.
Application Process: Call or walk-in.
Required Documentation: Bring legal documents to appointment (birth certificate, divorce papers, etc.).
Fees: No fee for services.
